Prohibited Content Category: 
Graphic or explicit violence, including assault/rape, injury to human beings or animals, or any acts of torture or terrorism.

Additional Guidelines: 

Ads cannot include:

  • Graphic or Explicit Violence: Content that includes depictions of severe harm, including injuries, death, explicit gore, excessive blood, or extreme violence such as torture, mutilation, sexual assault, prolonged beatings, or physical attacks (e.g., aggressive pushing or slapping)
  • Physical Violence and Abuse: Content that depicts physical attacks, including slapping, punching, or spitting, particularly if aimed at women or children.
  • Physical or Mental Harm: Content that threatens, depicts, or advocates for physical or mental harm on oneself or others.  Examples include content advocating suicide, anorexia, or other self-harm, threatening someone with real-life harm or calling for the attack of another person, or promoting, glorifying, or condoning violence against others.
  • Terrorism: Content that promotes or condones terrorism, supports terroristic groups, or celebrates actions or attacks by terrorist organizations. 

Ads can include:

  • Mild Forms of Conflict: Content that depicts mild and more routine forms of conflict, such as yelling or shouting, without any gestures or movements that suggest or imply abuse or that the individual may become violent.
  • Action and Stylized Violence: Content that includes non-bloody action scenes or stylized/comic violence and has appropriate context reflecting the non-real nature.
