Other forms of shocking or disturbing content, including but not limited to graphic depictions of bodily functions or fluids, grotesque images, footage, or audio, or other potentially offensive, obscene, or sensitive events.

Additional Guidelines: 

Ads cannot include:

  • Gratuitous Portrayals of Bodily Fluids, Waste, or Odors: Content showing an excessive volume of bodily fluids or waste, including internal organs, blood, pus, similar depictions of guts or gore, or excessive body odors.
  • Graphic Grooming Details: Content featuring detailed depictions of grooming actions, like popping pimples or removing ingrown hairs.
  • Disturbing, Shocking, or Scary Imagery or ASMR Themes: Examples include scenes that suggest an individual may be infected with a disease, scenes with maggots or worms on or inside people or animals, excessive pimples or pustules, or similar imagery.
  • Offensive, Obscene, and Explicit Language: Content containing explicit profanity (e.g., the “F-word”), slurs relating to race, sexuality, or other protected characteristics, or obscured or symbolic profanity conveyed through misspellings, symbols, or emojis, and profane gestures (e.g., “F__K” or the middle finger emoji). 
  • Sensitive Events: Content that appears to discuss, exploit, dismiss, condone, or attribute blame for events with significant social, cultural, or political impact, such as civil emergencies, acts of war, natural disasters, public health emergencies, terrorism and related activities, conflict, or mass acts of violence.

Ads can include:

  • Minor First Aid Imagery: Content that depicts mildly unsettling visuals, including minor injuries and non-graphic first-aid applications, without excessive detail or bodily fluids. Examples include bandaging small wounds, minor dental work like cleanings or fillings, and similar routine care.
  • Non-Graphic Hygiene and Grooming Practices: Depictions of everyday hygiene or grooming activities without graphic detail, such as skincare routines (e.g., facial masks, scrubs), hair removal techniques (e.g., waxing, shaving), and foot care or pedicures.
