AppLovin is proud to announce that Adam Foroughi has been awarded with EY’s Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2018 for the Northern California region in the Marketing Technology category. A panel of independent judges picked winners for excelling in areas such as innovation, financial performance, and personal commitment to their businesses and communities.

“I’m honored to receive this award and could not have done it without the support of my wife Jaclyn, my co-founders Andrew Karam, John Krystynak, and the rest of our team,” said Adam. “As founders, the best decisions we made were in hiring the people around us—I wouldn’t be in this position without the phenomenal achievements of the AppLovin team. I’m excited for our future and can’t wait to see what we accomplish next.”

From the beginning, AppLovin found success by following Adam’s product-first philosophy. By building a proven product, AppLovin’s growth exploded nearly instantly. In fact, Adam only ever took a $4 million fundraising round from angel investors. “What I learned when I couldn’t raise any money was to have conviction about what you’re doing in the face of anyone telling you that it’s wrong,” said Adam.
