Last month, Northern California was hit by some of the deadliest wildfires in the state’s history. The fires were felt throughout several regions surrounding the Bay Area with smoke and ash blanketing the area, including San Francisco. Watching the devastation unfold on the news, we at AppLovin decided to do something to help the victims of the fires and to support our local community.

In partnership with AppsFlyer, we held a fundraiser at our office in San Francisco with over 175 guests in attendance. We invited five local wineries, including Caymus, William Hill, Martin Ray, Miner, and Gloria Ferrer, to come and provide tastings for our guests.

By the end of the night, we raised $15,877, which AppLovin matched 100%, bringing the grand total to $31,755 donated! We chose to donate the proceeds to the Redwood Credit Union Community Fund’s North Bay Fire Relief Fund, where all of the funds raised will go directly to support the relief efforts and those affected by the fires.

We’re happy to have had the opportunity to support our local community here in Northern California. If you missed our fundraiser but would still like to help, you can donate directly to the Redwood Credit Union Community Fund.

In 2018, we plan on continuing to support our community and those in need with more fundraisers and other events.
