AppLovin Cares: Helping for the Holidays

As the winter holiday season approaches, many of us are thinking about giving back and making a difference in our communities. At AppLovin, we believe in using our resources and platform to make a positive impact, which is why we started AppLovin Cares.

AppLovin Cares is our corporate charity program that was created to support and give back to the communities where we live and work. Through AppLovin Cares, we have engaged in our own initiatives and supported a variety of organizations and causes, including education, the arts, and community development.

Here are a few examples of how AppLovin Cares is here to help give back.

The Family Giving Tree

This year, Applovin has been proud to support the Family Giving Tree. Originating in San Jose, CA, the Family Giving Tree has been fulfilling holiday wishes and filling backpacks with school supplies for lower income families — including children, adults, and seniors — for more than 3 decades. In 2021 alone, they were able to fulfill 53,000 holiday wishes even on the heels of the end of the pandemic.

As of this moment, halfway through December, they’ve been able to help more than 40,000 people. AppLovin is proud to be helping support that effort, and we encourage you to do the same with us through our Family giving Tree donation site.

Please consider adding Family Giving Tree to your holiday list; donate today by clicking here. If you can’t right now, that’s okay; donations are open through this site until January 31st.

Fostering Wishes

AppLovin had the opportunity to participate in Fostering Wishes, an organization where gifts are distributed to foster children of all ages.

Employees were able to donate specific gifts by way of Amazon Wish List or simply donating to the Fostering Wishes GoFundMe page. All donations went directly to the foster children for the holiday season. If you still wish to participate in Fostering Wishes, please view the website by clicking here for more details!

Boys & Girls Clubs of America

One of the organizations that we have been proud to support through AppLovin Cares is the Boys & Girls Clubs of America. The Boys & Girls Clubs provide a safe and supportive environment for young people to learn and grow, offering a wide range of programs and activities that help kids develop important skills and build positive relationships.

AppLovin Cares has made significant donations to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to support their important work. We were also proud to partner with them on a number of initiatives, including a national STEM program that introduced young people to the exciting world of science, technology, engineering, and math.

More STEM education support

We also partner at all times of the year with organizations such as Code.org and Girls Who Code to promote STEM education and increase access to computer science education for underserved communities. We believe that providing children and women with the skills and knowledge to succeed in the tech industry will not only benefit them personally, but also help drive innovation and progress in the field.

Helping furry friends

Throughout the year, AppLovin Cares also supports organizations such as the ASPCA and the Humane Society to help improve the lives of animals. We believe in the importance of treating all living beings with kindness and respect, and we are proud to support organizations that share this belief.

‘Tis always the season to give (when you can)

Giving back is an important part of our company values at AppLovin, and we are committed to continuing our efforts through AppLovin Cares. As we enter the winter season and celebrate the holidays, we encourage others to join us in supporting organizations and causes that are important to them. Together, we can make a difference and bring some joy to those in need.

If you’re an individual or organization interested in partnering with AppLovin Cares, fill out the form at the bottom of the official AppLovin Cares webpage.
